Thanks for stopping in and taking a second to read this, I appreciate anyone taking the time to read the first ever article on this blog. Don’t worry, I’m ready to answer the hard hitting questions first.

Q. Kevin, are you trapped in 2006 or something? Five days before 2024 feels a little late for a blog.

A. Correct!

Q. Why a blog?

A. I’m looking for an outlet to share my thoughts, ideas, and deepest personal fears while developing skills and a living resume. Until rent and cat food are free, I am burdened to labor.

Since those are the only two questions I can imagine anyone asking, that’s all the time we will spend on that!

On a serious note, I stand by the statement that not every guy needs a podcast so for me to share my ideas or opinions across the internet, this is the best way. The goal is to provide approachable cocktail recipes, opinions about the New York Rangers, and further my own writing skills. Hosting and writing for a blog I get to curate is perfect for letting me tackle the topics I want to, and since Hard Drive magazine rejected the headline prompts I submitted, this is the only place willing to publish my work. Thanks Me. Over time I’ll build out a publication plan and posting schedule but since the readership is between zero and one right now, I’m not going to sweat about it.
